I<\/span>n 1987, the Stara Sava opened as a caf\u00e9 – a place where locals could enjoy their first morning coffee while overlooking the levee and into the Sava River.<\/p>

Throughout the years, coupled with great passion and the love for food, the family business expanded, and the caf\u00e9 transformed into a pizzeria.<\/p>

Pizzeria Stara Sava was one of the first in Croatia offering pizzas baked from a real wood fired bread oven. By using this method, it gave such a special aroma and unforgettable taste leaving you craving more.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

S<\/span>ince then, we have been constantly enriching our menu offering a wide array of meals including lasagnas, pastas,\u00a0 calamari and seafood, meat dishes, piadinas, and even Mexican dishes!<\/p>

We are always trying to keep up with local trends keeping our menu fresh, but we are also meticulously\u00a0careful not to change the foundations that brought us here.\u00a0<\/p>

P<\/span>izzeria Stara Sava only uses the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. We make our own desserts in house, and we are extremely proud of our homemade black and green gnocchi prepared daily by our hard-working chefs.<\/p>

If you are traveling through or staying in Zagreb, we welcome you in for a quick bite to appease your taste buds – they deserve it!<\/p>

With 170 seats inside and another 60 on our summer terrace, our doors swing wide open to you every day. We have plenty of parking, so no need to worry about that!
